A strong second half from the Tigers!

Our ground ball game was much better and led to a successful second half.
After a week of no games, the Tigers were both a little rusty and eager to compete.  CPA came out strong and scored 2 early goals-- within the first couple minutes of the game.  The Tigers got settled and answered with two goals of our own, keeping the score tied for the next 15 minutes of the game.

The Lions went on a run late in the first half and the Tigers went into the break down 9-2.  The plan for the second half was to limit mistakes, be more aggressive on attack, and be smarter in the midfield.  We executed on all fronts!  Emma Schwarz '24 had her best game of the season with several strong drives to goal, including two finishes!  Our middies, Julia Spessard '23, Eva Wuerth '23, and Margaret McKay '25 combined for 8 draw controls and six goals.  Julia led us in ground balls with seven!  Kate Vaughn also had a big second half, finishing with seven saves.

The Tigers are looking to finish the season strong over the next couple of weeks.
