USN beats MTCS 5-2
After about 3 weeks from when we started the match against MTCS, we were able to come away with a major district win. We went into yesterday's math up 2-1 with wins by Henry '23 at line 1 and Bennett '23 at line 2. Three other matches were in progress when we had to stop due to rainy conditions. Colin '25 was tied 8-8 and in the middle of a tie-breaker, Henry '23 and Bennett '23 were up 4-2 at line 1 doubles, Simon '24 was in the first game of his match, and Line 2 doubles hadn't gone on court yet.
Colin '25 was able to win his match 9-8 (3) at line 3 and Line 1 doubles clinched the match with an 8-5 win. Simon '24 went on to win at line 4, giving us a total win count of five. MTCS was able to close out the day with a win at line 2 doubles.
