University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers's Block Throws No-Hitter to Defeat Providence Christian Academy

Owen Block was brilliant on the pitcher's mound on Monday, as Block threw a no-hitter to lead University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers past Providence Christian Academy 12-0.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fourth inning.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers batters contributing to the big inning included Mahoney Daunic, Dylan Washko, Carson Darr, and Block, who each had RBIs in the inning.
 
In the first inning, University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers got their offense started.  Daunic's sac fly scored one run for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers tallied seven runs in the fourth inning.  Daunic, Washko, Darr, and Block all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
 
Block earned the victory on the hill for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers. Block surrendered zero runs on zero hits over five innings, striking out nine and walking zero.
 
Rowland took the loss for Providence Christian Academy. Rowland surrendered five runs on six hits over three innings, striking out one.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers totaled 11 hits.  Townsend Stevenson, Block, and Alexander Peck all managed multiple hits for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.  Peck, Block, and Stevenson each managed two hits to lead University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Washko had  nine chances in the field, the most on the team.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Peck led the way with three.
