Big Fifth Inning Propels University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers Win Over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School

University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers knocked in seven runs in the fifth on its way to a 12-2 victory over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School on Saturday.  Grant Reilly, Joseph Ozenne, Carson Darr, Alexander Peck, and Owen Block all drove in runs in the frame.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers opened up scoring in the first inning.  Block drove in one when Block doubled.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers put up seven runs in the fifth inning.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers's offense in the inning came from singles by Ozenne, Peck, and Block, a sacrifice fly by Darr, and an error on a ball put in play by Reilly.
 
Mahoney Daunic was credited with the victory for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers. Daunic surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.
 
#5 took the loss for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School. undefined lasted one inning, allowing one hit and four runs while walking zero.

Dylan Washko had  16 chances in the field, the most on the team.
