Walk down memory lane with the Class of 2023

Students, families, faculty, and staff are invited to contribute to celebrating the Class of 2023 by submitting photos of seniors from their time at USN for the Senior Memory Wall. Drop pictures in the box in the 19th Avenue lobby by Friday, March 10.
One of the many University School of Nashville traditions is the Senior Memory Wall that goes up in the main hall of the school each May and is a highlight of the reception that follows Commencement. We are asking seniors, families, faculty, and staff to help honor the Class of 2023 by providing pictures.

We encourage families to submit up to five photos from Lower School, five photos from Middle School, and 10 photos from High School, plus additional photos of large groups of students, using the guidelines below:
  • Photos must be rated PG
  • Photos should be labeled with each student's name and either Lower School, Middle School, or High School. The date of the event would be especially helpful.
  • They can be color or black and white photos.
  • Photos must contain at least one USN senior, but they do not have to be exclusively seniors and they do not need to have been taken during your senior year.
  • Photos should have been taken at USN or at any USN-related activity at any age such as:
    • Lower School: Grandparents' Day/Turkey Trot, Operetta, field trips, Field Day, Holiday Sing Alongs, After School, 100th-day celebration.
    • Middle School: Trips such as Little Rock, Pisgah, Out of These Doors, Washington, D.C., athletics, performing arts, Eighth Grade Breakfast.
    • High School: Class retreats, plays/musicals, Cabaret Night, Scene Night, dance, choral and band performances, community service activities and clubs, Community Service Day, athletics, sports recognition nights, Mock Trial, math competitions, Homecoming/Spirit Week, and Prom.
    • All-school events: Popsicle Party, International Fair, Fall Fest, Centennial Year activities.
  • Photos of student hangouts like Panera, SATCO,  and Ben & Jerry's and memorabilia such as musical/theater programs, sports programs, and newspaper clippings, artwork, and sketches are great too.
A few important things to note are:
  • Please submit only good copies on photo paper. Copies can be printed at CVS, Walgreens, Target, or another photo shop; prints can be ordered from your Facebook and Instagram accounts in just minutes.
  • Photos and memorabilia will not be returned.
  • Label all photos with the student's name and grade level at the time the photo was taken.
  • Deliver your items to the Senior Memory Wall box at the 19th Avenue Entrance by Friday, March 10.
If you have questions, please contact Memory Wall Committee Co-Chairs Jodi O’Hara or Melanie Block.
