COVID-19 may keep throwing us curve balls, but, no matter what, we keep getting on base. In other words, we're persevering and remain committed to offering in-person classes this year despite pushing our start date back. Our course catalog will open for viewing on Thursday, February 3, and registration will open Wednesday, February 9.

Due to concerns for the health and well-being of our Evening Classes students, teachers, and staff, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all food and beverage-related classes. As much as cooking classes and culinary experiences are at the core of Evening Classes, we are delaying the return of these until next year. We extend our most heartfelt thanks to all the local restaurants for their stalwart support of our program year after year. We can’t wait to share their class offerings in 2023.

The year 2022 will yet again feel a bit different, but we are confident that the course catalog will offer a wide variety of classes to tempt your mind, tantalize your creativity, and help you keep your New Year's resolutions.

If you’ve resolved to learn a new sport, switch up your exercise routine, or make some adjustments to your diet, we’ve got you covered. We’ve got classes on pickleball, yoga, creating an in-home gym, Qigong, Tai Chi, intermittent fasting, and more.

Perhaps you're aiming to set financial goals? We have classes on planning for retirement, financially-smart divorces, and selling stuff online. What's more, you can learn about crypto, which, rumor has it, is some type of money as well. What?

And don’t we all pledge to take up a new hobby or learn a new skill? Done. You can take up Mahjong, backyard beekeeping, adult improv, or gardening with nature. You can learn to write personal essays, communicate with honesty and persuasion, become a better negotiator, or reclaim your own backyard.

For those who simply intend to read more, we have a special event by acclaimed journalist and author Sam Quinones, who will discuss what parents need to know about the new synthetic era of drugs. Additionally, he will sign copies of his new book, "The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth," which will be available for purchase on-site.

Evening Classes begin on Thursday, February 24 and will continue through Thursday, March 31. We look forward to seeing you in class.
