September 9 is makeup picture day

Students in Grades K-11 who missed their picture day will have their yearbook photos taken on Thursday, Sept. 9.
Any student in grades K-11 who did not take their school portrait during the first week of school will have a second chance to get their photo in the yearbook on Thursday, Sept. 9. Teachers and advisors will communicate directly with students on the makeup picture list about a time during the day that is appropriate for them to take their photo without significantly disrupting their class schedule.

Weather permitting, makeup portraits will be taken on the Edgehill stairs again to take advantage of natural sunlight. Although students are welcome to uphold class traditions, they may not wear hats, wigs, sunglasses or use other items to obstruct the view of their faces or hair. USN uses these photos not only in the yearbook but also for identification purposes. Students' photos often are shared in applications for awards and articles on their accomplishments.

In the fall, USN will share digital files with families to download their students’ portraits for personal use. The school does not charge parents for yearbook pictures. Dates for formal and casual portraits for the Class of 2022 are forthcoming.
