Music Night 2021 is just around the corner. This virtual event will take place via Zoom on Saturday, February 20 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Since its debut in the 1990s, Music Night has showcased the wide range of talent of USN parents, alumni, faculty, and friends. Virtually every musical genre has been represented over the years: bluegrass, classical, country, gospel, folk, funk, jazz, pop, rock, and soul. Music Night 2021 will celebrate the rich history and diversity of this USN tradition with an all-star lineup of previous headliners and artists.

Join hosts Vince Durnan and Steve Gorman as they present special performances from:
Bluegrass musicians Alison Brown and Garry West
Singer songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman
Bassist and composer Edgar Meyer
Singer songwriter Gabe Dixon '96
Country artist Suzy Bogguss
Legendary bassist Victor Wooten
Singer songwriter William Tyler '98
And lastly, a few members of USN's own Joe Getsi & the K-12 Situation will perform.

It’s a night music lovers won’t want to miss. Festive food and beverages have been an important part of Music Night over the years, as well. Attendees won’t be able to gather together this year, but you can make the virtual event even more thrilling by ordering carry out dinner and drinks from one of these recommended local restaurants:

etc.

Henrietta Red, owned by Julia Sullivan '01
Local Distro, owned by Will Radford, Parent of Asauda Radford '25, Akil Radford '26, and Ade Radford '28

You can support these businesses by placing your advance order directly on the day of the show. No special menus, discounts, or codes needed. It’s a just a simple way to show our appreciation for some of our friends in the restaurant community. Stay tuned for delicious menu suggestions from each restaurant.
