Connecting as readers over the summer

Read on for details about book club options for Middle School and High School students in June and July.
By Kate Pritchard, MS/HS Librarian

Middle School students can join one of two weekly book clubs led by MS/HS Librarian Kate Pritchard. One group is for rising sixth and seventh graders, and one group is for rising eighth and ninth graders. Sign up at this link or send an email to kpritchard@email.usn.org.

The High School Book Club plans to hold regular meetings over the summer, which will be a fun and informal place to chat about books, ask other students for recommendations (especially from the summer reading lists), and connect with each other. No assigned or required reading. High School students and rising ninth graders can sign up for club meetings by filling out this form or emailing kpritchard@email.usn.org to sign up for this club. (Yes, this means those lucky rising freshmen have two book club options.)

Stay tuned for more summer reading book club options as plans develop.
