Please return library books

Take advantage of the opportunity to return Hassenfeld Library books and bags during the Lower School Parade on Thursday, May 21.
By Emily Theobald, LS Librarian

We realize you and your children may not remember what books you have at home. Please email LS Library Assistant Kristin Frank for a list of books your child has checked out from USN’s Hassenfeld Library. Then have your children go on a hunt for the books. After so many weeks, even the most organized households are bound to have misplaced these books.

Directions for drop off: Please gently clean the front and back of the books with a damp cloth or paper towel and some sort of disinfectant. Allow them to dry completely. Books then need to be placed in a bag for safe and easy hand-off during the LS drive through on Thursday, May 21.  You may use your child's library bag, which we will hold onto until school resumes in August. If you can't find the library bag or your child doesn't have one, any bag you have at home will do.

Lastly, please do not worry if you cannot find all of the books. We are attempting to get back as many as possible at this time in the hopes we can offer some library services when safety protocols allow. There likely will be other opportunities to return books later in the summer.  Alternatively, you can hold onto them until we return in August. We will not charge for unreturned books.

Thank you for your cooperation.
