What a game last night! The Tigers matched up well vs. GCA, both teams playing excellent defense and holding each other to low scoring for the entire game. USN put up a fight in the 3rd quarter and regained a 17-14 lead. The Tigers got into some foul trouble in the 4th, with 2 starters fouling out with 2 minutes to go. (One being Kate Vaughn, with game-high 12 points) Margaret McKay, Yvonne Thomas, Maddie Ewing, & Josie Whelan battled on the boards all night. Dalton Vaughn hit an almost-3 point shot late in the 4th to bring the Tigers within 1, but ended up falling short on their last attempt to win. The 3rd game of the week for these tired Tigers ended up being the best game they have played all year. Heads high, Tigers!
