USN Battles Hard For First Win of Season

Lindsay Preston
What a nail-biter last nights game was vs. Overbrook!  The game was intense all the way through, as both teams traded baskets & maintained defensive pressure. The score was tied 14-14 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The USN Tigers hyped up their energy, determined to see it through. Kate Vaughn led the team in scoring with 8 points, sinking three clutch free throws in the 4th,  but it was the entire Tiger team's ability to remain calm under pressure & make good decisions in the end that really helped maintain the Tiger lead! The Tigers rushed the floor in excitement after their first win of the season. Congrats on your hard-fought win!
