Bonus Bucks means extra dollars for USN

With just a few clicks, your regular shopping for groceries and household items can support USN faculty and staff professional development.
The Bonus Bucks program at USN is easy money. By taking five minutes to add USN to your Publix, Kroger, and Amazon accounts, you will earn cash donations from these companies to the school. The money we raise from Publix, Kroger, and Amazon Smile goes directly to professional development and learning opportunities for faculty and staff that will ultimately lead to us leaving USN better off than when we arrived.  

Amazon Smile
Let your online shopping count with University School of Nashville by enrolling in AmazonSmile. To enroll, 
  1. Go to smile.amazon.com and sign into your Amazon account.
  2. Select “University School of Nashville” as your charity and shop as usual.
  3. Amazon will donate to the school .5 cent of every dollar you spend on products labeled "Eligible for AmazonSmile donation."
  4. Remember to always log in through smile.amazon.com to order for your purchases to count toward USN donations. Create a bookmark in your web browser or add the AmazonSmile 1Button for Chrome extension.
Publix
Over the years, Publix Partners has contributed nearly $19,000 to University School of Nashville. Since Sept. 30, 2018, this grocer has transitioned to using only phone numbers for benefits.  So, please make sure you update your profile to reflect your phone number. To create an account or add your phone number to an existing account, 
  1. Visit publix.com.
  2. Click “Log In” in the top left corner.
  3. Either sign in on the left side of your screen or click “Sign Up” on the right side of your screen to create an account.
  4. If updating an existing Publix account, click “Welcome, Your Name” and “Go to My Account” in the top left corner.
  5. Fill out your profile and be sure to add your phone number.
  6. Beneath “My Publix Partner” click “Select a School” and search for “University School of Nashville.”
  7. If you have correctly registered USN to benefit, then you will see “University School of Nashville” listed beneath “My Publix Partner.”
  8. When you shop at Publix, enter your phone number at check out. Publix will give a percentage of its proceeds from your shopping trip to USN.
Kroger
Kroger Community Rewards makes fundraising easy; just swipe your Kroger Plus Card or enter your phone number when checking out to earn cash back for USN. To create an account or add your phone number to an existing account, 
  1. Visit kroger.com
  2. On the right side of the screen, click the blue boxes to either “Log In” or “Create an Account.”
  3. Fill out your profile and be sure to add your phone number.
  4. Under the “Savings & Rewards” dropdown menu, click “Kroger Community Rewards.”
  5. Beneath “I am a Customer,” click “View Details.”
  6.  In the search bar, enter “University School of Nashville” and click “Enroll.”
  7. When you shop at Kroger, enter your phone number or use your Kroger Plus Card at check out. Kroger will give a percentage of its proceeds from your shopping trip to USN.
Box Tops 
The Box Tops mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to USN’s earnings online. Download the app and learn more at BTFE.com. Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production but may continue to be found on the many products throughout the store as packages transition to the new Box Tops labels. You can still clip these and send them to school. Every Box Top is worth 10 cents for the school. Look for products when you shop, clip the coupon, and drop them into collection boxes in the Hassenfeld Library, the USNA Office, or during book collection for Fall Book Frenzy.

USN Night Out 
Throughout the year, USN and community partners such Parnassus Books, Chipotle, Green Hills Grille, and Farm Burger will host events where a percentage of the event sales goes to USN. These fun events will be announced in the USN Newsletter leading up to the event, so be sure to look for these dates.
