Meet Recap - April 3

Perfect weather conditions made for some great performances in a long afternoon of competition at the River Campus. Both teams came home with stellar performances as we make progress week by week and meet by meet.
 
Here are the Podium finishers - Zoey Fink 1st SP; Chloe Bruce 2nd LJ; Kylie Cook 3rd 300mIH; Latham Hall 3rd 800m; Ryane Swope 3rd 200m; Girls 4x1 1st, 4x2 2nd (Chloe Bruce, Izzy Lutes, Morayo Kassim, Brooke Burgess) and 4x4 2nd (Bruce, Lutes, Kassim, Mia Owen); Jordan Turner 3rd 100m, 2nd 200m; Boys 4x4 2nd (Pelham Bergesen, Neil Narayanan, Josh Scretchen, Jonathan Ghertner; and a sweep of the boys 400m 1st - 4th Pelham, Josh S, Nel and Jon G.

Tiger(s) of the WEEK - Abby Schoenecker put together two very competitive 800m runs seizing the lead and competing hardfirst time ever boys 400m Josh Scretchen and Jonathan Ghertner also posted excellent efforts in a very competitive race. We are always asking our athletes to reach "out of their comfort zone" and this was a perfect example of some gritty competitive efforts.
 
Notable Performances included - these athletes manged to keep calm and post good first time efforts - Tillman Payne TJ; James Page 100, 200m; Thomas Luschen SP/DT; Jon Nichols DT (returning from injury); Jude Warren 1600m huge PR; Isaac Chomsky 300mIH; Kailey Nichols 100m also returning from injury. Nick Beem had an eye opening race in the 800m taking the lead and working hard to the end.
