Tough Loss to Grace Christian Academy

Lindsay Preston
What a matchup between USN and Grace Christian on Tuesday night! Both teams battled it out as USN came up short in the end.
USN came out strong against a well-matched Grace Christian Academy on Tuesday night. The nets were singing as both teams traded shots throughout the game. The score was 15-10 at the half. USN started the 2nd half strong, and came out to outscore Grace Christian 17-8 in the 3rd quarter alone. Olivia Jacobs and Alima Kassim's shooting practice paid off as both girls scored season-high points--Olivia with 11 points and Alima with 8 points. Although USN's defense has improved dramatically from the start of the season, they fell to Grace Christian 37-27. Shout out to all of our TIGERS for their amazing effort!
