The girls bowling team lost 24-3 to Friendship Christian School today at Hermitage Strike & Spare. Our team came out strong in the first game against the defending state champs, hanging in and losing narrowly by a 5-3 margin. FCS came out with guns blazing in the second game, and unfortunately our girls could not keep up with their scoring pace, leading to a 8-0 loss. This put the game pretty much out of hand, but our girls fought until the end, for which I am quite proud of! Our team was led by Ava Cason with a career-best 168 game and Milly West with a career-best-tying 154. The girls will next bowl on Monday, travelling to the Pinnacle in Clarksville for a match against Clarksville Academy.
The Class of 2019 will attend 62 colleges and universities this fall. Since it's difficult to read all the college names on T-shirts in the May 1 photo of seniors, here is a list of the colleges they have chosen to attend.
