Aaron Fulk joined the University School of Nashville as Director of College Counseling in 2021 after serving Marin Academy in San Rafael, CA for five years as Director of College Counseling and Institutional Research. While at MA, he took a values-based, data-informed approach to evolve the programming during his tenure. Outside of his role as a college counselor, Aaron was the co-site supervisor for the Mastery Transcript Consortium, served on the senior leadership team, and also sat on several committees including the strategic alignment committee and the curriculum review committee. Prior to MA, Aaron served as the Associate Director of College Counseling at Collegiate School (Richmond, VA) and St. Margaret's Episcopal School (CA) where he coached football and baseball and focused on diversity and equity initiatives. He began his career in college admissions at his alma maters, Washington & Lee University and reading for Stanford University, reads applications for QuestBridge, and volunteers for ScholarMatch. A regular presenter at state, regional ,and national conferences, Aaron is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), The College Board, and served as the Strategic Planning Chair of the Board for the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS) for four years.
