Now in its 24th year, USN Evening Classes will bring to the Nashville community lessons on biscuit baking, becoming a better investor, parenting, planning a rose garden, calligraphy, paddleboard yoga and more. You also could take a tour of First Tennessee Ball Park, enjoy a walking food tour in East Nashville, or spend a night at the symphony to benefit USN's need-based scholarship endowment.
The Evening Classes catalog will be available for viewing only on Friday, Dec. 2 at usneveningclasses.org. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.
Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post journalists and authors Mary Jordan and Kevin Sullivan will be this year's spotlight event as they guide a productive conversation about American politics beyond the 2016 election. This 90-minute special on Monday, Jan. 30 will include time for questions from the audience.
University of Virginia selected Margot Ross '24 to be a Jefferson Scholar. The highly selective scholarship includes the full cost of attending UVA for four years of study as well as numerous enrichment opportunities. It has been 16 years since a University School of Nashville senior last became a Jefferson Scholar.
