See Fauna in the Tibbott Gallery

by Trent Boysen, arts department co-chair

Caleb Groh’s whimsical felt sculptures are hard not to love. See them at the opening reception.
I am positive you will quickly find a favorite, thanks to Caleb’s skill at weaving recognizable character into each adorable animal. Using a series of needle tools, he intertwines loose polyester and wool fibers, slowly building the shape and structure of each piece. Known collectively as Artifact, these tiny sculptures pay homage to their larger counterparts. Birds, bears, rabbits, narwhal and more are on exhibit in the Christine Slayden Tibbott Center Gallery through December.

Please join us for an opening reception Thursday November 19, 5-7pm.
