Emerging Writers Workshop at USN

by Freya Sachs, high school English teacher

High school students from at least twenty Nashville area schools will gather at USN next Saturday, February 28, for the Nashville Emerging Writers Workshop.

There's still space for USN students to join us, and we hope you will.  With workshops in Songwriting, Screenwriting, Playwriting, Spoken Word, Fiction, Poetry, Children's Literature, Young Adult Literature, Radio Journalism, and more, there's something for everyone.  It's a great chance to connect with other writers, thinkers, and creators from around the area.

The $10 fee includes lunch and a notebook, in addition to workshops from talented writers and teachers, and a reading and talk from Nashville poet T.J. Jarrett.

We're looking forward to an exciting day.
