USN 2005 graduate Buky Bamigboye, a freshman at Georgetown University, won the Big East 2006 heptathlon, setting a meet record as she scored 5,410 points.  She was named Co-Most Valuable Field Performer for the meet, the Big East Outdoor Championships.

At USN, Buky was a standout in soccer and track and field, winning the state pentathlon and setting a school record her senior year. She was also the state champion in the 300m hurdles and the 4X400 and 4X800 relays.
