USN Strategic Plan
We are pleased to share with you the contents of Strategic Plan 2001.
It is the product of discussions spanning many weeks, involving many
hundreds of people who care deeply about education as it should be and
USN as it could be. True to our Demonstration School heritage, the
document and the process which made it possible reflect an aspiration
to learn from our history as we link arms to build a model school for
the future.
Special thanks are due to Steering Committee members Mary Berlin,
Michael McBride, Will Johnston, David Ewing ‘85, John TeSelle ‘83, Pat
Miletich, Marty Kennedy, Tirzah DeCaria ‘01, Cal Charlet ’01, and to
Thelma Kidd, Chair. They helped craft a clear and compelling message,
linking PDS/USN families past and present and working tirelessly with
members of the Board of Trustees to chart our course for the future.
