"Man is still the most extraordinary computer of all." - JFK
Though the most important element of computing at USN is "humanware"--the teachers, the students, and the staff who utilize the systems--the hardware itself is substantial. It is upgraded in an ongoing basis so that the USN community has access to the most effective technology available.
Each of the approximately 300 machines on campus is connected to each other via our school-wide internal network. The computers in each office, classroom, and lab have access to shared servers, printers, the World Wide Web, and email. At each division level there is also access to high-end printers, scanners, laptops, digital cameras, and projectors. In most cases, this additional equipment resides in the respective computer labs.
