THE RESULTS ARE IN and it's a RECORD-BREAKING YEAR:
For the first time in the school’s history, USN’s Annual Fund has topped $1,000,000, a 12% increase over last year’s $896,000.
We attribute the success of the 2006-2007 Annual Fund to the fact that 100% of faculty and staff and The Board of Trustees, 90% of parents, and 23% of alumni contributed to it.
There are many stories to tell behind these numbers. Watch for the next issue of the Annual Report in your mailbox by October. And check back here soon to read more about what your gift made possible at USN this year.
Why does USN ask for Annual Fund gifts?
As at many independent schools, tuition covers roughly 85% of operating expenses. We depend on the Annual Fund to help make up a portion of the remaining 15%. Annual Fund dollars help University School attract and retain excellent teachers, make a USN education available to more deserving students, enhance programs and technology, and improve facilities. The dollars raised for this annual campaign are vital to the day-to-day operations of the school, benefiting all of USN’s students and our dedicated faculty.
