USN's computer network and technology services are intended to be used in support of education and research consistent with the mission and objectives of the school.

We promote the use of technology to:

1. provide access to information and instruction which appeals to multiple learning styles.
2. provide professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
3. broaden the ways in which information is presented both by faculty in their teaching and by students in their responses (audio, video, electronic and print formats).
4. enable and encourage communication--specifically questioning, dialogue, and debate--among classes, cities, and nations.
5. foster creativity in a multimedia environment.
6. support best practices in the classroom.
